Setia Bible College in Jakarta trains hundreds of students each year in theology and community impact, sending most students back to their rural villages to work and minister with this huge unreached, illiterate people group. Enter “The Visible Story“.
The Visible Story is a creative expression of God’s word in story-form. Students are trained in engaged-storytelling and then given tools to help them tell some of Jesus’ most powerful parables to those who have never heard before. The stories are chosen with a Muslim population in mind, and the rural-themes connect people to the story of God. Every year, SGM Lifewords will train and equip rural church-planters and mission workers with The Visible Story.
